Having privilege family banking with icici and saphiro with less than 5l limit currently.
Paid emerald 12500 plastic is showing as upgrade but need metal

Ask the 1st rm to withdraw the application. That is what my RM did when he had to apply for the card for the 2nd time. Don’t let it get rejected since there is a cool off period of 6 months between two applications.

Capital gains from stocks , FOs and mutual fund are not considered by banks as income for credit card afaik .
HDFC for sure , other banks I have heard of but not 100% sure, please confirm confirm from someone

In my case they denied that home loans are not counted in PPOP, but still you can check with your RM.

They do not consider Asset business as part of TRV.

That’s unfortunate and beats logic since as a business a large part of my income goes in repaying the commercial property loan, the interest of which gets claimed as expense.

Yes they are rigid so better to put your business in a bank which values you.

It’s always a good idea to use the leverage that you have got to extract best deals from the banks, banks won’t give you anything if you don’t fight for it

The person who processed my loans in icici has been great. First got in touch when he was in yes bank, took over my first loan. Then once he shifted to icici he got me switched over to icici and i also needed a commercial loan which he processed. Got my rates down last year before rbi started cutting rates.

I am hopeful he will get this done too. I think he might be a corporate rm.
