Eligibility Criteria for ICICI Emeralde Private Metal - Discussion

I have an emeralde plastic and I was approached by icici agent for upgrade. But now he has done a new credit card application instead of the upgrade of my current emeralde card and my emeralde private metal is approved. Should I proceed with it as a new application and close my current plastic emeralde card?

Yes take EPM and if you emerald PVC is LTF then keep it otherwise close it as soon as you get EPM

Is your plastic Emeralde LTF?

No, but charged on monthly basis. But for almost 18 months I've paid the monthly card fee 4 times max.

I would have taken it. Private metal is way way better than normal emrald in terms of rewards and benifits
