That’s a typical issue, I believe, everyone faces with minor’s Aadhar authentication.

Please visit the branch with your daughter’s Aadhar and PAN and submit a physical application for her add-on card. It worked for me.

I have contacted my RM, she helped me to get the addon for my daughter!

Anyone looking for addon for kids above 12
Steps:
- Get PAN card (ensure Aadhar is linked)
- Contact RM or visit bank.
- eKYC is not working as they are not allowing 3rd person to help (even though they are minor), opt of biometric.
- After documentation, approval from Primary card holder, it will be approved on same day!


Btw, My RM said, we can apply for kids above 10years.. I was shocked to hear.. Anyone tried? I will try for my younger kid soon (10+years).

No ... approvals are still in progress once it's updated to sanction that means approval are done

It should get through the "Sanction" stage regardless of the approvals. Until then it's not considered sanctioned.

But now he has done a new credit card application instead of the upgrade of my current emeralde card and my emeralde private metal is approved. Should I proceed with it as a new application and close my current plastic emeralde card?

Yes. Upgrades in icici are new cards and not replacements.

On the safe side, close emeralde pvc after the epm arrives
