It should not be an issue. You should still get it. Push your RM/BM. One of my colleague has 2.6 L/month salary, his account is with SBI. He can't change salary account so he just opened wealth account with 15 L funding & got EPM approved within two weeks.

It's 1 month back case.

It seems salary account shifting from other bank to ICICI or opening a wealth account is varying from person to person at icici end.

I had 2.8L salary credit in other bank's salary account and only had privilege account with ICICI..

But the person who processed my approval request and then application never asked to open any account or shifting to salary account to ICIC.

Or he didn't ask may be because I already privilege account but I am not sure.

So don't know what exactly worked to get EPM without any new account opening or shifting salary account.

But he could have asked to shift salary account to icici if i already had an account with icici.

PS: not contradicting just adding what happened in my case ☺️☺️

It all boils down to the RM and his intent. Sr folks with the right intent who are willing to make it happen can make it happen.
