Duplicate last 4 digits causing issues in bill fetching

Apparently my ICICI VISA Amazon Pay and ICICI AMEX RubyX CC has the same last 4 digits. None of the bill payment apps work due to this post BBPS implementation. I can only pay via bank's own site/app so i keep missing all the reward points.

Any solutions?
 
Faced same issue.
My coral and Amazon pay had same last digits.

I replaced coral got new digits on coral and old on amazon pay cc.
waited till next statement but still faced same issue, then contacted cc they canceled my coral card (earlier it was blocked only).
again waited for next statement but sadly still same issue.

Now i replaced amazon cc too, but my bad luck got last digit same as new coral digits.
Then again replaced & got new digits. (as i know this time issue will be damn same).

Now waiting for this month statement (20th) hopefully it'll work now.

I asked you to visit branch. Fill up form for mobile number change. A wait period of 15-30 days but it seems you didn't do it. 🙂 We don't know if ICICI is at fault or BBPS/NPCI. When I changed mobile number in Axis CC, I faced this invalid combination error for more than a month but it resolved itself. Seems like not the banks but NPCI has some issues at their end once customer changes anything.

If anyone has same last 4 digits in card then go to your bank branch and change mobile number in any one card. Problem will reslove in 15-30 days after change.

UPDATE :-

Issue got resolved (Kind of)

I've now new amazon pay cc with fresh last digits and this is working for BBPS.

And Coral has digits which i got for amazon pay and replaced that, so it's not fetching bill as same digits with multiple cards BUT i've other cards aassociated with coral so i can pay using those details XD

Now i can pay both Coral and Amazzon Pay CC bills using BBPS. :partyface::partyface::partyface:
 
Simple is to pay via NEFT for the current cycle. To avoid this in future, just block the current card and reapply for the replacement. Since the replacement will have a new card number, it will be easier to pay going forward
 
i too faced same issue having coral and amazon cards,

ICICI support is just messing things up and creating blunders (even their escalation i.e. level 1 support too is same), in my case, 3 times coral and amazon card end numbers are issued duplicate by icici , there is some error / loophole in their system which generates these 2 cards with same ending numbers
They changed coral card first, then still the issue persisted, i should have changed amazon card instead as coral card is linked to platinum.

if same issue is encountered by anyone, then follow the(se) step(s) 0 only
0. just change (block and replace) the amazon card, coral card is anyways linked to platinum card, so you can pay the bill otherwise

1. changing mobile number to a different one of the card doesn't help, icici need all cards of a user linked to same mobile number, the number is updated at many places within icici system, changing number just for one card still keeps some trace in their system (i had changed mobile number for coral card earlier)
2. i wasted 3 months just for experiencing the blunders they create
3. most important thing : the block and replace feature is available ONLY THREE TIMES per user, so after that the card will be permanently blocked (this info is shared by level 1 support of icici, anyone here has experienced the same , pl confirm / clarify)
 
I solved the issue in just a phone call, last month. My closed Times Black CC and Rubyx CC was having same last 4 digits. Recently ICICI changed their CC Upi bill payment option to mobile#followedbylast4digitsofCC.
So I called their CC, asked to transfer the call to senior. I explained the whole issue that I cannot pay bills through 3rd party apps like Cred/Apay due to same last 4digits. Earlier there was a way around where I can pay using upi by entering whole CC #, but now that upi payment format changed & last 4digits is creating issue. He suggested me alternate ways like paying through iMobile, etc & instantly emailed a whole set of options of bill payments.
But I sticked to my point that the bank cannot force any customer to pay through any specific channel, customer has right and options to pay through any channel and if that is denied, the call recording and issue will be shared with RBIO.
Trust me, this worked like magic. The executive right in the call Blocked & Replaced my Rubyx CC and assured me that no Replacement Charges will be levied. The same was getting was displayed in Internet Banking after few minutes this time with different last 4 digits.
Received new card in 3 days.

You guys can give this process a try. Thank me later 🙂
