Driving License Add Change in TG

Friends,

Any idea on how to get the address changed in my DL. Youtube and google say, to use t folio app but the app says, the service is no longer available. Anyone has any clue or have contacts please refer me.

TG doesn’t have online facility for updating of address. I found one TG website, gave the details and made Rs735 payment. Today morning went to the RTO office and surrendered the original license as well and they clicked a photo and bid me farewell.

Nothing 0. Paid 735 online. Took the printout of the form I filled online. Then 5rs for a small plastic cover to put the license in. One copy of Aadhar card.

To add or change details in your Driving License (DL) in Telangana (TG), such as adding a new class of vehicle, changing your address, or updating your name or photo, you can follow this step-by-step guide:

🚗 Services You Can Apply For:​

• Add a new class of vehicle (e.g., from LMV to MCWG)
• Change of address (within or outside Telangana)
• Name change or correction
• Change of photo or signature
• Biometrics update (photo, thumb, etc.)

✅ Step-by-Step Process (Online via Telangana Transport):​

1.​

Go to https://transport.telangana.gov.in/

---

2.​

• Choose Telangana from the dropdown.

---

3.​

• Click on "Apply for Driving License Related Services"
• Enter your DL Number and Date of Birth to proceed.

4.​

• Add Class of Vehicle (A/COV)
• Change of Address
• Name/Date of Birth Correction
• Issue of Duplicate DL
• Replacement of DL (New card)

5.​

Depending on the service selected, you may need:

• Proof of Address (Aadhaar, utility bill, passport)
• Identity Proof
• Existing DL
• Passport-size photo
• Medical Certificate (Form 1A) if age > 40 or for transport class
