Do you think ARM will replace X86-64 Intel, AMD processors in desktops and servers?

The everyday use is more and more becoming "cloud based". Most users do not even utilise 10% of the power their machine is capable of.
Cheap chromebooks are gradually creating a niche market. Plus they now have the advantage of being able to run android apps. With Indians obsessed with "cost" and majority of smartphones running android, acceptance of chromebooks by ordinary users expected to increase.
Once Blackberry used to be No1. Now they are non-existent. So who knows what the future will be.
Last year news - Google plans to merge Chrome OS into Android to take on Apple’s iPad

Personally, I think if Android is made into a fully functional desktop OS, it would be great.

The only drawback of Android is that its apps are not designed for a desktop UI. If Google provides good incentives to developers, it could be possible.
