I had booked three programmes at Periyar Tiger Reserve, which is in Thekkady (Kerala). The programmes are run by the government. The bookings were made for the dates of 31st May and 1st June, and the reservations were completed on 4th May. Due to adverse weather conditions and a red alert, the programmes were cancelled. I haven't received any official email from the Periyar team. They mentioned that I would receive a refund within 10-15 days on the call.
However, I have seen numerous reviews on TrustPilot stating that they do not issue refunds and continuously provide delays. What should I do at this point? Should I wait for 10-15 days or directly dispute the transaction with SBI Cards? The Periyar team is not providing confirmation via email, nor does the website show a cancellation status.
