HDFC Credit Cards [Discussion] Unconfirmed: Does HDFC Restore Original Limit After Closing Pixel Card?

I’ve been hearing that if you close your HDFC Pixel card, the credit limit might get released back to your main HDFC card. Apparently, there are 2-3 ways this can happen:

1. It happens automatically after closing the Pixel card.
2. You can write to customer care and request it.
3. If needed, escalate it through the Grievance Redressal system.

In one video, the person mentioned he got his original limit back a few months after closing the Pixel card.


Has anyone here actually experienced this? Did your Pixel card limit get added back to your main HDFC card? Curious to know how it worked out for others.

It's been a month ever since I closed my pixel card due to the inappropriate account details and the card details. And I am still waiting for the limit to get restored with my original card. As I contacted the pixel support, they just asked me to wait 20 days from closure of the card even the specified timeline has already passed. They are not willing to address my ticket anymore if I extend the chat as I am no longer a pixel user. Hoping the limit to get restored 🤞.
