Did bpcl octane card provide renewal benefits

Did BPCL octane has renewal benefits ? Anyone got it renewed and got the 6000 reward points ?


They have the joining benefit as 6000 points which are essentially 0.25p per point = 1500 rs

I think moderate to heavy petrol spender should keep it, don't know about IDFC fuel Card but this card gives reasonable benefits, of course always welcome to suggestions for better fuel cards really need it.

Well tbh, I have this card and my fuel spends of 8-9k every month give me good number of points. Also, I have the Rupay variant so I’m able to use it for upi transactions (I get 2.5% on grocery using upi). I easily cross the fee waiver so no need to close it.

I got mine renewed… there is only fee waiver not 6k points credit …. Also crossed 3L spends … redeemed the 2k voucher at van huesen.

Yes but those transaction don’t count for milestone benefit.

I am using SBI BPCL Octane credit card (Visa) for the last one year plus. I think it has many positives including fuel spends. Some of these are as under:-

• Fuel Reward Rate - Good rewards rate of 6.25% on fuel spends + 1% fuel surcharge waiver.
• Base Reward Rate - Excellent base reward rate of 2.5% for Groceries, Departmental Stores, Movies & Dining.
• Welcome Benefits - 6,000 bonus RPs which are equivalent to Rs 1,500 (@ 4 RPs = Rs 1) after the payment of joining fee.
• Gas Reward Rate - 6.25% rewards on gas cylinders of Bharat Gas through their app.
• Domestic Lounges - 4 complimentary visits per calendar year (1 per quarter) to domestic Visa lounges in India (no spend criteria).
• Milestone Offer - Worth Rs. 2,000 from Aditya Birla Fashion, Yatra, Urban Ladder, Hush Puppies or Bata on annual spends of Rs. 3L.
• Annual Fee Waiver - Annual fees of Rs 1,499 + 18% GST (=Rs 269.82) = Rs, 1,768.82 are waived off on spending Rs. 2L in a year.
