Credit card showing as dormant account in HSBC mobile app

I got my HSBC cashback card in last week of January. I created pin and activated the card today only. But in HSBC mobile app it shows dormant account below my credit card. What is the issue here? I have not made any transactions yet using it.
 
I used my card physically twice, contactless, but it still shows as Dormant, even after three days. Due to this, I'm unable to make online transactions. What a ridiculous rule! The support team says I can make online transactions only if it becomes active. Fucking stupid. Any idea what to do?
 
I just opened my hsbc app and right below my card it says : dormant account ( for hsbc plat cc)

What does this mean?

I used my card for about 48k in Feb and haven't used since but how can it be dormant? It hasnt been a year.

Do I have to worry about it? Or can ignore?
 
Try to do a small transaction.

do a small txn and once it is settled (usually 2 days), the card will again become active

I spoke to CC , they said card is active only and I don't have to do anything. He first said I need to do a pos transaction to which I got furious and then eventually said that it's active only and that I need to ensure its used once in 365 days
