Can base fare be waived off onnly till 1500 or 3000 respectively? or there is no upper cap on the base fare for domestic flights?

SBI person told me that base fare will only be waived off till 1500 and rest of the amount I'll have to pay.
Axis person said that entire base fee will be waived off.

Not sure who is right since they are similar co-branded cards.

Can someone please confirm on both the cards?

no upper cap for base fare.... they offer award flight, you just have to pay taxes nothing else
