Closing Indusind Bank CC

Hey Fam!

I am planning to close my credit card as their customer service is very poor, indie app doesn't work and free customer care number has too much options to call executive that too they didn't pick.

My question is, if I wanted to apply a card in future will I get one?

Ex - currently I have tiger CC which I am planning to drop, can I get tiger cc or another indusind bank CC in future?

Yeah you can get, but for future no one predicts whether indusind exist or not as per their losses and poor quality service.

If your existing CC is LTF, why take the trouble of closing it now and desperately hoping to again get it later ?

If it is chargeable card, then close it if YOU do not need it. That alone should decide - not their customer care quality or their recent problems or something else which is NOT connected to you.

Card is not chargeable but service is the main problem. Neither app works nor they are easily reachable.

Also I don't find using the CC anymore.

Then, close it. Why worry about getting it again ? Their service may not improve DRASTICALLY in future.

I can give it in writing on stamp paper that you will not close as it is LTF

Yeah, just asking for possibilites, let's say they launches a good card to have in future.

No point closing unless you are trying to overcome overleveraged issue applying for AU or SBI cards. Indusind does have rare offers once in a year or two, might as well keep it.
