Clarification on Term Insurance Rejection and Future Applications

I had applied for the Axis Term Insurance - 2cr , 25M (Plain Vanilla Plan), but it was rejected after one month citing “Past medical history as disclosed” and advising me to reapply only after January 7, 2027.

For context, my disclosed medical history was a hospitalization due to dengue about one year ago. I do not have any ongoing medical issues.

I would like to seek clarification on the following points:

1. If I apply for term insurance with other companies, will they be able to see the rejection reason stated by Axis?
2. Can I request Axis to provide a more specific reason so that it does not negatively impact my applications with other insurers?
3. Is there any mandatory waiting period before I can apply for term insurance with other companies?

afaik, its not cibil. there is no central repository that can be fetched and seen by other banks related to insurance. So one bank claim may not be seen by other. I neverr experienced and cant assure completely.

But one thing for sure, during claim they know ur past medical history and can be rejected, again not based on this particular bank rejection, its in general. So be honest and disclose everythign.
