Has anyone availed the CFAR policy by IDFC?

Cancellation for any reason (CFAR) insurance: Cancellation cover for 2 claims up to INR 10000, will be available for hotel and flight booking cancellations.

Do we need to signup for the insurance or is it automatic when we book a flight or hotel?

Please let me know the experience for someone who has availed this.

@haroldh did u tried CFAR ? I am planning to use it . Well just checked they are asking for aadhaar and pan card as ID proof ?
Also their portal - howden broker portal is not working during email id validation ? How did u raise the CFAR request ?
