Cc bill payement query

I'm new to credit card world and most of the cards I own are cashback cards...swiggy hdfc...sbi cash back... live+ ...I'm confused with bill payment ...

Say if my statement shows Rs 1000 as due..but assume, after 2 days 200 Rs is credited as cashback..

Do I need to pay entire 1000 Rs as bill amount or 800 Rs after deducting the cash back amount needs to be paid ?

I think if the statement is generated you have to pay ₹1000. And ₹200 you get will adjust in next Statement.

In some cases, the cashback is credited just before the generation of next statement and after the current due date is passed.

Usually, the cashback amount is much less than the actual due. So, I'd pay in full to stay peaceful.
