Canara bank virtual debit card . Unable to select network or the varient

I have opened account after reading about rupay select benifits here on forum. But app also have a section to apply for virtual debit card. I have three questions
1- can I get virtual debit card with canara bank mobile banking application?
2- if I go ahead and apply for virtual debit card will I get rupay platinum debit card?
2)3- is there any changes for virtual debit card
Any input input would be helpful.

1) Yes canara a1 app i think
2) Are they not allowing you to choose the variant ?!(i also wanted to open canara aspire account )
try from internet banking maybe?!
3)Can only find this(this is probably true,i don't think they will charge for a virtual debit card)

RN, U can not get Virtual Card, there's some issue.

Hi @Aniket Bro,

My Platinum card expires tomorrow. I thought I could just generate a Virtual Debit Card and didn’t need a physical one, since I don’t use it. But today I got a message from the bank saying they’ve dispatched a new card via Speedpost.

I don’t find the Platinum card useful anymore. Can the bank send a new card without asking? And if I don’t activate it, will I still be charged?

Please advise on what options I have at this point.
