can we use HUF UPI ID as part of UPI Circle?

Hi All,

I have a HUF Current account (My father is kartha), and we use that HUF only for retail shop payments. (basically the retail shop is running on HUF)


Now UPI circle came into picture, Can all the HUF members simply get added to the UPI circle where primary contact will be HUF and use that for all spends.

Meaning: Without transfer hussle , i am thinking i can use HUF account for spends directly using upi circle.

Will there be any issues using like this ?

UPI is a front end process. But access is determined based on the underlying account. UPI circle is a option in the app. As long as UPI is available for underlying account, it would be possible to enable UPI circle child relations to that account. But pl keep in mind that limit based full assignment works only with BHIM app right now.
As you rightly pointed out, HUF is linked to IT Act (PAN). So the IT implications need to be seen separately.

previously to use HUF amount , we need to transfer to member savings account and then only he can consume, i am thinking if i use this upi circle, i can avoid transfers, and directly all my family can use this huf curent account for purchases directly via huf current account.

i can save time on transfers and maintaince , that what i am exploring and thought off, should have kept my post with more details. hope this kind of usage is acceptable and no issues right ?
