BOI debit card mishap

Hi community,
I had opened one savings ac with BOI during my college period in 2012. I was using that ac until my debit card with it expired in 2018. Eventually after that my ac got dormant and I visited branch and turned into activated state. But they charged me debit card charges twice after that, where I never received the card nor did I use their card. When I told them to reverse the fees they are saying that it is valid and as after so long I am visiting the branch they can't do anything about it. Guys please help me resolve this and I already escalated and raised grievance but it's not resolved till now. I felt cheated and not feeling great about this. I would love to hear your thoughts on this.

A similar case had happened to me back in 2013.
My BOI account was opened for my student loan which I completed in 2013 then there were no transactions so they put it on dormant.
They made it active after I wrote a few letters by hand and did several follow-ups. then I found unnecessary charges when I updated the passbook.
Again, Talked with a number of people in the branch. They again asked me to write an application letter by hand.

This time, I wrote the letter, but for closing my account. Now I am free of their nuisance.

Have you heard of the bamboo uses by RBI? No banks like them but once inserted it changes the behaviour of banks. Without it you don't get any result. Raise a complaint in RBI banking ombudsman and watch for the magic to happen.

I have all the escalation ref no and details. I thought of giving them chance but it past 1month. I would love to give them and their ego a RBI Bamboo. Thanks mate.
