BOB World Opulence Visa Infinite Metal Edition Debit Card: A New Addition for the Bank of Baroda HNI Customers

Bank of Baroda being one of the largest PSU banks, is not falling behind in the current race of introducing "premium features" to their Debit cards as well. BOB has introduced a metal Debit card named World Opulence which is coming with some great features which can only be seen to some of the most premium credit cards out there. It's being offered on Visa Infinite variant. You can check their official website for further informations This Debit card is also coming with a good amount of joining and annual fee which are being the followings:

Joining Fee: Rs 9,500/- (for the first year)
Annual Fee: Rs 9,500/- (from the 2nd year onwards)

I said na i did fd later on. So my ac got upgraded to radiance virtually…. Why they will open radiance in 1L ac cateogry 🙂

No nothing additional … i just checked on the apply debit card section … opulence was showing along with sapphire card too … so i applied and regarding the charges it was showing 0 , so i talked to my RM and confirmed this info and got this card LTf.

1. Yes the card is LTF and issued without any charge
2. Fd of 15L done earlier … in jan 2024 the fd has been liquidated and currently 40k in saving account balance … but still on radiance , not downgraded yet.
3. No not 0 MAB a/c .

Bob radiance mentions 30L as TRV. Was 15L FD fine for opening radiance ?
And would the DC be unconditional LTF or gets converted to chargeable if and when account gets downgraded from radiance ?

Yes mine was upgraded in 15L only … yes it will be unconditionally ltf provided you must be getting the option for opulence debit card in the apply dc section on app & without charges too … major point to consider is that first you upgrade to radiance and after some time you will be surely eligible for this card LTF … though they say complimentary sapphire card for radiance customer but imo sapphire is nothing againts opulence….

i got it today … my a/c is under bob radiance .

How old is your account?

in my case i haven’t been charged anything for non maintenance… my sole purpose was to get this card only and that too LTF … i did not receive any brochure coz my ac was virtually upgraded after 1 month of doing fd … the only change I observe is that the account statement which comes shows bob radiance … rest the RM assigned , got me this card and also alloted a locker for me at 75% concession … these only are the 2 benefits i had utilised since getting into radiance …

And they automatically upgraded your account, or did you ask your BM for the upgrade?

Strange, when I asked my Radiance RM about this debit card, he mentioned it's not complimentary/free like Sapphire but there are discounts on JF and AF which he said need to check if interested. Some ppl here also confirmed the same. Now, you are saying it's LTF. Damn!!
