Finally decided to open BOB Lite account for holding emergency funds. Basically park 25-30k or 10k and split rest in FD. opened it on jul 14. vkyc done same time. account details received by email/sms. netbanking was active by 11pm.
I was able to setup netbanking access the next day. still awaiting debit card/cheque book.
query - when is debit card generate in case of physical card requested while opening. I dont see any debit card generated in netbanking. option to generate virtual card is present.
Customer Care informed me that kit will be delivered in 15 working days and also confirmed that variant is BOB Lite. Netbanking is not showing account type yet
