Best Way To Pay Credit Card Bills: More Information on IndusInd Exclusive Debit Cards

IndusInd Exclusive Account offers a free "IndusInd Exclusive Signature" Debit Card. Maximum cashback earned in a calendar month is ₹ 1050 statement credit at 0.93%.
Not many are aware that we can get 2 more debit cards issued for free in the same Exclusive Account, which would have their own separate cashback capping.

The variants are:
To get the additional debit cards, drop a mail to exclusive@indusind.com if you are an Exclusive Account Holder.

At ₹ 0.35 for a point for cash redemption, this amounts to a total of ₹ 1050 + ₹ 1050 + ₹ 700 = ₹ 2800 of cashback a month.

The cashback calculation could be a bit difficult to track and understand which is mentioned on this page:

Hence, I calculated this in Excel, which makes it a bit easier to understand and track. Just to clarify, you can do any transaction value through the card (no minimum value). It all gets added to the spends. Then, as per your total spends, the points would be calculated at the end of the month. The debit points reflecting in your account would keep on changing in real time though.

I upgraded my partner account to exclusive account 2 months back. Now I have old partner visa signature card with exclusive visa and mc cards. All are active as well.
Do we need to raise a request to close the old visa signature card?

It was done through my RM, also opened new addon accounts.

If you have existing partner account with zero mab special waiver condition, you won't have that in Exclusive.

To make mab waiver on Exclusive you will need to link a pinnacle card or any other condition as per sob

How did you guys get multiple DCs on your exclusive account? I called IndusInd CC and was told I should close my existing card to process the request. I called customer care twice now, but the same person is picking up my call. Now what do I do? :ROFLMAO:

I won't be able to visit the branch as I'm not in town. Can I ask them to issue MC variant by blocking visa and then reapply for visa on the app?
You don't even have to visit your branch; simply call your RM and ask them to take the request over the phone. Once they generate the request, an OTP will be sent to your registered device. Share the OTP with your RM, and that's it. I didn't even have to visit my branch to apply for any cards, including those for my family members.

What documents do indus check to determine relationship? Want to open an account for my cousin and then link it to my account under sibling. Would that work?

Nothing 😂
So should I open a basic savings account, add it to family and it would be converted to 0 mab select account or should I first open a select account with 50k funding and then link it as family account?

Also if I link their account as family, will it increase their chance of getting a legend credit card from bank?

You can't avoid the funding aspect unless you have a good relationship with your bank or manage to fool them. It's advisable to open the account offline, fund it, and then link your family members to that account.
