Best forex card right now for free cash withdrawals abroad?

RM95

TF Select
Travelling to Japan next month. Read that in rural areas, cash is king. I don't want to carry too much cash, so thought about opting for a forex card that I can use at 7-11 ATMs without paying forex, cross currency or withdrawal fees.

Is there any card that satisfies this at the moment?
Looking at BMS single currency card, but not sure about the drawbacks.

Any help would be appreciated.

There is a debit card of fi money as well with 0 forex.
Also kotak 811 has also launched its metal card with 0 forex. Need to enquire if it offer 0 charges on foreign atm withdrawal as well

Please help regarding some doubts on Fi account,
Is there salary eligibility for Fi money account opening now? And can one open Fi money account of they are existing federal Bank customers?

this actually looks worthwhile but those eligibility criteria are stringent, have you used this card before? can you confirm what was the exchange rate? HDFC regalia forex also advertises this but during currency conversion, they bake in a 2% markup
Unfortunately I don't have this account for the same reason (high amb) so I have not confirmed but 0 forex debit cards are really just that. Visa/Mastercard do currency conversion at their rates and no other charge is levied by bank.

Forex cards on other hand have a lot of hidden charges and that's why it's better to look for debit or credit card with 0 forex charges.

For ATM withdrawal it's little complicated. Some ATMs will charge withdrawal fee no matter your card. That fee will be added to the fee your bank charges. So better look for ATMs that don't charge any fee and cards with low withdrawal fee (like indusind, yes, idfc etc.)
