Best Debit Card in the World? & Why?

@telescope I just got the Schwab One Debit Card and what the actual f is this. There is no freezing, temp blocking nor are there any modifiable spending limits. A full 15k$ spending limit that a thief or hacker could swipe immediately and to top it all off, there are no real time alerts/notifications when spending from this card.

I called customer support and their solution was, and I kid you not, "cancel the card when you're not using it and we will issue a new one when you have to use it", unbelievable.

You're dealing with a traditional behemoth of a financial institution, not a highly agile startup. So yeah many things are still 1990s.

They have those features working for their checking account debit card but not for this brokerage account.

BNY Mellon issues the debit card on behalf of Schwab and guess what, BNY Mellon's debit cards have those features too. It's just this particular debit card that does not have these basic features. So both institutions, Schwab and BNY have the functionality, they just haven't put it on the Schwab One Brokerage debit cards.

idfc and dbs bank has no remittance fee.
seems like you have some experience with this, I think you should consider making a thread, in that you can explain how to add money & what method to use. since account opening dosent take initial funding now I am sure more people will be interested in opening an account & using it.
