In the world of personal finance, many people are always looking for ways to manage their money better and get the most out of their spending. One popular strategy that's gaining traction is using debit cards to pay off credit card bills. This allows you to earn cashback on expenses that wouldn't normally earn rewards. In this article, we'll explore this concept and look at some of the best debit card options for paying off credit card bills.

Understanding the Strategy

Typically, credit card bills are paid using money from a bank account, either automatically or by manual transfer. While these payments don't usually earn rewards, some banks offer cashback incentives for using their debit cards to pay bills. By strategically using a debit card for credit card payments, you can earn cashback on expenses that wouldn't otherwise earn rewards.

Choosing the Right Debit Card

When choosing a debit card for paying credit card bills, there are a few things to consider:
  1. Cashback Percentage: Look for a debit card that offers a good cashback percentage on bill payments.
  2. Debit Card Fees: Consider any fees associated with the debit card, such as monthly fees or transaction fees.
  3. Account Requirements: Make sure you meet any requirements to qualify for the debit card you're interested in.

I guess it had to happen sometime but unipay failed on a Rs.60,000 transaction with the initial screen showing success then another screen showing failure.

Sadly amount was deducted. Can anyone confirm the timeline for a refund? 2-3 days without follow up is that really dependable.

I am still not able to understand why so many people are messing around with SBI Unipay. Why not just open a select account with Indus or even better get it at 0 MAB with Legend and enjoy the 0.93% cashback and instant and reliable credit card payments via PayTM.

Why you pay Rs.60,000 ?

Do multiple transactions na ?

Do 20k*3 or 10k*6 transaction (dnt pay more than 10k or 20k).

Also pay 10k, 9800, 9700, 9900 payment. So, you can track your bill payment amount. Dnt pay same amount bill within 24hrs.

One more thing, after submit your card otp, manually click the link when redirect back to merchant website.

Dnt wait for auto redirect back to merchant website.

Hi TF Team, Today I go to IDFC bank and enquired about Select account opening. They told me to initially fund 3lakhs and maintain the balance to avail the select debit card and other related benifits. They told from 1st may 2024 itself normal account to premium account upgrade process stopped.

If I am opening Select account directly by funding 3 lakhs. Any minimum balance to be maintain or if suppose I don't maintain the minimum balance means select debit card features are stopped ah. Please suggest TF Team.
