Hello,
Just want to know best cards to use for government transactions.
I am assuming income tax payments, stamp duty, registration, property tax payment etc. in government transactions.
I have DCB, Magnus, MRCC, ICICI Amazon, IDFC wealth card. If there's no good option from these cards, I would go for other if they give good rewards.

Now that Magnus could discontinue rewards on government transactions (already done on Reserve starting from 12th August), which credit card will be best for government transactions such as Advance Tax payment, TDS payment, etc?

Hdfc business regalia probably, works for insurance.

In my experience none of the HDFC cards provide even base reward points on Govt transactions. I have seen IDFC (Select) provide some reward points though. I didn't bother checking whether it is 1X or 3X or counts towards multiplier benefits. Curious to know if ICICI and SBI provide them.

HDFC Business cards give rewards on government transactions.

Note that webpage of biz cards says only for itr and gst payments for 5x. Other government services regular reward points I guess.
Getting 5X on ITR/GST is absolutely bonkers. In fact getting 3.33% on government spends itself is crazy. It won't sustain for long. Make hay till the sun shines.
