Best bank account for parking some fund

I wanted to open a new account for my father my options are IDFC, Indusind and RBL
The netbanking and mobile banking should be smooth
Will just use account for ipo purpose
And good interest rate would be nice
Was going to open induind but many people faced account freeze issue there.

But kotak is not opening new accounts right now

You will face freezing issue with IDFC but it's mobile banking and NetBanking is smooth.

I would also suggest Kotak. You can open account offline but will have to maintain balance. Choose account according to balance you can maintain.

Wanted to open account online only as my dad won't go to branch 😅
Mab is not an issue but would prefer upto 25k mab
I heard good things about idfc
Indusind I heard it freezes a lot

They aren't on boarding new CC customers. Account opening is not affected.
You can go ahead with the 811 10K MAB /Everyday Account.
Account can be opened online.

Why would IDFC freeze any account? I keep crores in their savings and transfer similar amounts without any issues ever.

Why would IDFC freeze any account? I keep crores in their savings and transfer similar amounts without any issues ever.

My friend's account got freezed for no genuine reason. He maintained more than 5 lakhs.
Many other users faced freezing issue, check technofino or twitter

It must have been for some prohibited or suspicious transactions. I have more than 15 accounts and have never faced any such issue. Nor have I ever heard it from any friend or acquaintances. I have only read about it online.

Used for paying credit card bills using Airtel Thanks app. Nothing else.
