I'm trying to apply the BOB Rupay select DC thru the app and its showing the card name as Bhoomi Rupay Select DC. Can anyone confirm if its the dc with same features as Wellness RSDC or its different?
Yes, it has similar vouchers & benefits. It is just because BOB Rupay wellness RSDC is replaced by BOB Bhoomi or Earth RSDC. Go ahead & apply.
 
I am getting Bhoomi select option on newly open super savings account even though the balance is 0. Will it still be fyf? Or would they reject it afterwards?

Super saving account has FYF DC. It doesn't matter if you have 0 balance or 1L. DC will be FYF and you should maintain 20K balance as super saving is a premium account else you will be charged with penalty.
 
I recently found a very small detail.

I wanted to have a custom name on my new debit card. I'm sure most of us must be using Bob World app, but there is no option to enter a custom name when requesting a debit card.

But, if you place the order through Bob NetBanking, you do get the option to type a custom name. You can write whatever you want.

But keep in mind that the maximum number of characters that can be printed on the debit card is 19 in case of BOB, including spaces.

For example, if your name is "Shashank Singh Chouhan, that is 22 characters, including spaces.

On your debit card, only the first 19 characters will be printed, so it will appear as "Shashank Singh Chou," with 3 letters missing.

So, yea that's all I wanted to type, maybe some of you know it already. @Anindya98 it's completely upto you if you want to mark this using threadmarker or put link in 1st post for other peeps.

I tried applying through ChatBot and it asked for email, mobile, otp, but once completing applying for DC i did not receive any kind of confirmation at all. No SMS, no email. Is there a way to know if my application was went through or not? (BOB mobile application do show option to apply DCs.)

Consider your request successful if applied through chatbot. I was in a similar situation & I applied for the DC through chatbot. I didn't receive any SMS or email to confirm. Later, after 4-5 days, I called customer care to confirm if my DC was successfully placed or not, & they confirmed it was successfully placed & will reach your communication address, and it took me 16 days to receive the DC.

Well, seems like they removed it and wait 3-4 working days, most likely by next monday you will see DC in the app.

Delivery takes ages, can easily take 15-20 days.

On BOB website there are three icons in right middle corner, click on third icon representing a man in coat name adi, a new window will pop up written ASK ADI,
Then tere will be four options, choose the last one, service for existing customer, then choose apply new debit card, basic details like account number will be asked and otp verification will happen, available options of debit card will be shown, choose and proceed further your application will be submitted.

Opened saving account and applied for EMT and RSDC but no physical debit card has yet been delivered, it has been few weeks since the account has been opened. Does one need to go to branch to collect the debit cards? Appreciate the help! Thanks.

Not really, just call customer care (1800 5700) & ask about the status of your debit cards. Delivery usually takes 15-20 days in case of BOB, so you need some patience with these PSU banks.
