Bank of Maharashtra || Rupay select debit card || REVIEW

This is just for information for people who hold Rupay Select Debit card (i am holding Bank Of Mahashtra- RSDC). When i sent a query to Rupay team regarding the benefits update frequency / renewal of benefits -every year or quaterly, i received following response.

"Please note for the Bank of Maharashtra Rupay Select Card starting with first 6 digits as 6524** the benefit frequency details are based on calendar year and can be redeemed once service out of each category and the details are as follows:

OTT ( Amazon Prime/ Zee5/ Sonyliv): Yearly once
Cab (Ola/ Uber): Quarterly
Healthcare (SRL/Thyrocare): Quarterly
Spa (For Fountains/ HR Wellness/ Kairali/ Aromathai/ O2 Spa/ Lakme): Quarterly
Fitness ( Cult.fit 1 Month/ Cult.fit 3 Months): Quarterly
Golf Round: Quarterly
Golf Lesson: Quarterly "

Previously i thought all benefits were updated yearly only, but now i can use the coupons extensively.
Bank of Maharashtra offered RSDC for free by opening a min bal 25k account.
i hope its useful for all members.

They have not updated there

Dont believe that, except ott, all other are refreshing quarterly.

Went to branch they gave a booklet which has Application, CKYC, DC form, Nominee form, PMJJBY consent, PMSBY form. I said I don't need last two they said they are compulsory. I did not submit the application yet can I remove last two pages?

Just tear those pages and submit
If they argue tell the BM regarding this absurd rule
If BM also says this then tell them to give this statement in written

The booklet was given by Dy manager. In application it is mention SMS alerts chargeable. I asked her can I opt for email alerts and deactivate SMS she replied she doesn't know. I ticked SMS alerts as No in the form. Will remove last two pages and submit tomorrow.

cuz that branch is more interested in selling PPF and NPS they did not care about you getting a DC 🙂

Also the person asked for original Aadhaar I said I am not carrying it and showed Digilocker but she said I should bring original once.

I have no idea about that since I was unable to login to mobile app- aadhar and IB method both didn't worked so got branch activation code on the day I visited branch to receive card

I didn't filled any special form, i just ticked dc needed in account opening form.
Bm said card will dispatch automatically.

It could be they will fill the details for you so it is taking time.
