I tried transacting with my baroda rupay select dc and received this sms:

"Your transaction was declined as your debit card ending with **** is blocked. Pl contact your base branch for de-blocking of card. Not You?Call 18005700-BOB"

I went to mobile app and saw my dc is vanished from card list. It is not there in the blocked dc list also.

Called customer care and the girl tried to help for 15 mins but ultimately couldn't help. She said she can see the dc as active in the system.

Went to the branch a while ago and they said they can't do anything as it's not showing in the system.

What kind of monkey business these people are into?

Which type of saving account you were holding with bank when you applied for this card ? And are you maintaining minimum AMB required ?

That's strange. Talk with BM directly and write to nodal.

Never heard BOB doing such things.
Yes very strange. How can a dc just vanish from the system without any trace.

My branch manager is a hopeless fellow. Don't want to deal with him. Can I directly email Nodal or first need to raise level 1 complaint?

Usko aise mat bolo bechari ne try to kiya hoga . Sikh jayegi .

Might be short glitch wait 2-3 days if it doesn't showup , complain on bob app or through online portal .

If you complain to nodal or any other place it will ultimately come up to BM .

After TXN decline you will get confirmation call for verification purposes, think you missed it and system flagged.

Yes go directly through nodal. I also had some issue & wanted to bypass BM, directly mailed nodal & in 4-5 working days, BM was calling me to address the issue. Ultimately issue is forwarded to BM but if you go through nodal, they monitor the progress on your issue. But if you go directly to BM, they may take it lightly as very few BM do things timely.

Yes this happened few months ago. I tried a transaction around 11pm and it was declined. They called after 03:00 so was sleeping at that time.

I used this dc after that declined transaction at another website though.
