Here's the timeline of my relationship with Axis bank and the issues with it:
27/07/2024: Got Flipkart Axis CC approved
20/03/2025: Got pre-approved Axis Neo CC
22/03/2025: Closed Axis Neo CC (they told me Neo is the only LTF CC for me but there was an offer for Privilege LTF going on too and they lied)
22/03/2025: Closed Flipkart Axis too (same issue wanted to get LTF privilege but they said can't so closed it)
25/03/2025: Applied & Got Axis Privilege LTF approved
Issue (1): they gave me 3L credit limit on this card but made an CIBIL enquiry of 30L.
30/04/2025: Sent an email to PNO to rectify it. After multiple emails and 2 more soft enquiries, more than a month later they told me it's 3L. Guess they fixed that. Can't see enquiry amount on CIBIL so trusted them.
26/06/2025: CIBIL alert for new CC enquiry from Axis Bank.
Issue (2): I never applied for anything. Raised a dispute on CIBIL and they removed it. Good again I guess.
04/07/2025: Because of an application from ICICI, I got to see the enquiry amount again and it's freaking 30L still (issue 1). Replied to previous PNO email today but not holding my breath.
As you can see, it's been very eventful relationship with Axis bank. Now, for the first issue, it's been over 2 months. So my questions are:
1. Am I eligible for some compensation? If so, how do I approach it? RBI or PNO still?
2. Also can I ask for a better ltf card than privilege like select or atlas? How do I negotiate this?
3. Not worth any trouble and it's better to let it go? Afterall, it's just a enquiry and the bank might flag me for doing this?
Thanks for reading. Hope someone experienced can help me out here.
