Hey fellow credit card enthusiasts,

Just wanted to share a quick experience and get your advice on next steps.

My Situation:

I’ve been holding two Axis Bank cards for a while now:
  • Axis MyZone (₹25K limit)
  • Axis Flipkart (₹40K limit initially)

Despite regular usage and timely payments, both cards were stuck with super low limits. I tried multiple methods (CS requests, app upgrades, etc.) for limit enhancement but always got the “not eligible” message.

What Worked:

Out of frustration, I sent a manual request via PNO (Principal Nodal Officer) asking for a credit limit increase on my Flipkart card, attaching ITR, salary slips, and a cover letter. To my surprise, they approved it within 5 working days and bumped the limit from ₹40K to ₹2.12L. 🎉

What's New:

Post limit increase, I suddenly got pre-approved offers in the Axis app for the following premium cards:

  1. Axis Atlas
  2. Axis Magnus
  3. Axis Select
  4. Axis Samsung Infinite

My Usage & Goals:

  • Monthly spend: ₹40K–₹60K (mainly online shopping, travel, dining)
  • Travel: Domestic + 1 international trip/year
  • Other cards: Amazon ICICI (LTF), HDFC Millennia, Neu Plus, ICICI Sapphiro, AMEX MRCC, HSBC Live+,BI BPCL Octance
  • Looking for: Strong reward rate, milestone benefits

Which Card Should I Go For?

  • Should I upgrade Flipkart to Atlas or Magnus if possible, or keep it for co-brand benefits?
  • Is Magnus worth it if I can’t consistently spend ₹1L/month?
  • Anyone had experience with Atlas + Flipkart combo?
Appreciate any advice or firsthand experience you can share. Thanks for reading!
