I applied for axis atlas credit card and it got rejected after few days i applied for axis airtel credit card which also rejected
After 1 week I mailed to pno@axisbank asking for the exact reason why my credit card was rejected
After 3 days they have replied that reason for rejection is mismatch between mobile number given in application and mobile number registered with your existing card
But I don't have any active axis bank credit card. I got a axis bank co branded card on 2020 but due to some issue the mobile number registered with the card was not mine and so i could not generate otp for pin generation and I never used it and on July 2022 I got mail from axis bank saying that your card will be closed on August 2022 due to prolonged inactivity.
I discarded the card on 2023.
I have replied to pno the above explanation
Can anybody help how to change the mobile number in old credit card if the same is still active and axis is adamant in having the same mobile number
And is there a number to speak with axis customer care directly regarding this and whether they will be of any help
I don't know the customer id of the old credit card
