In short (what changed):

- Buy-one-Get-one free movie/non-movie ticket offer on BookMyShow will be discontinued.
- 24*7 complimentary concierge services will be discontinued (seems like no one using it).
- Complimentary airport meet & assist services reduced and/or discontinued.
- Gold/Jewelry, Govt. Services, Utilities not eligible for milestone, normal reward points - nothing.
- Domestic lounge access required 50,000 in previous 3 calendar months.

While you continue to make the most of your FLIPKART AXIS BANK Credit Card, we would like to update you regarding a few changes to the features on your Credit Card:

Effective 20th April 2024, unlimited cashback on all eligible spends other than transactions on Flipkart or preferred partners will be revised from 1.5% to 1%.

Effective 1st May 2024, access to domestic airport lounges will be based on a minimum eligible spend of Rs. 50,000 in the previous 3 calendar months. In the case of a newly issued card, the minimum spend criteria is waived for the month of card issuance as well as for the following 3 calendar months. For more details, please click here.

Axis Bank recently announced significant changes to the Axis Magnus credit card, effective from April 20, 2024. These changes will impact reward points earning, travel benefits, and fees. Here's a breakdown of the key points:

Reduced Rewards:

• Spends on insurance, fuel, and gold/jewelry will no longer earn base or accelerated reward points. This is a major loss for cardholders who frequently spend in these categories.
• Miles transfer program limitations: There's a new cap on points transferred to airline and hotel partners. You can transfer a maximum of 1 lakh points to Group A partners and 4 lakh points to Group B partners in a year.
• Annual fee waiver change: Spending on excluded categories (insurance, fuel, jewelry) won't count towards meeting the threshold for waiving the annual fee.

Goodbye Perks:

• Several premium benefits are being discontinued: These include the popular buy-one-get-one movie offer, 24/7 concierge service, and complimentary airport meet and greet services.

Lounge Access Update:

• Domestic lounge access becomes spend-based: Starting May 1, 2024, you'll need to spend at least Rs. 50,000 in the previous 3 months to access complimentary domestic airport lounges. New cardholders get a grace period for the first few months.
• Reduced guest visits: The number of complimentary guest visits for both domestic and international lounges has been halved, from 8 to 4 per year.

With these changes, the Axis Magnus card may not be as attractive as it once was, especially for those who spend heavily on excluded categories or rely on the discontinued perks. Carefully consider your spending habits and travel needs before renewing your card.
