In short (what changed):

- Buy-one-Get-one free movie/non-movie ticket offer on BookMyShow will be discontinued.
- 24*7 complimentary concierge services will be discontinued (seems like no one using it).
- Complimentary airport meet & assist services reduced and/or discontinued.
- Gold/Jewelry, Govt. Services, Utilities not eligible for milestone, normal reward points - nothing.
- Domestic lounge access required 50,000 in previous 3 calendar months.

Was thinking to get airtel axis card, to optimize wifi bill but decided against it due to uncertainty with axis. Thank god didn't applied.
But had got atlas recently, thinking it's much better than my magnus, and got waiver on magnus fees just for bms but that's also discontinued 😭

After Sep 23 devaluation, i thought magnus had become a stable product with decent benefits

But now ,it just became absolutely useless

Would pay 10k+gst or worst 12.5k+gst for this rubbish

If I complete my spend milestone of 15L on Atlas before 20th April then I should receive 10000 EM as milestone benefit.

My take on Atlas -
On a brighter note, they forgot to exclude Education category 🤣.

And most importantly the reward rates are still same.

Capping of 30K on Group A may seem less though specially for people using it only for travel. 6L travel spends will get to threshold.

For normal spends, capping looks solid at 15L spends. So, spend on normal category and use miles on travel category.


There is vistara also in Group B, which can be useful for some people.

Milestone and renewal benifit devalued.

As this is the trend, we may see further devaluations in next coming quarters. No more LTF cards, increase in basic cards fees, higher spending criteria for reversals. Higher minimum amounts for rewards earnings, reduced number of rewards per minimum amount, removing 10% off on Select merchants, increased minimum order value for instant discounts(min ₹1K value on swiggy/zomato even for myzone & neo) removing bms offers on all cards. This is just a beginning for more bloodbath
