They stopped using MCCs. So doesn't that mean Travel Aggregators will give 5% miles as well?
Not an update relating to card's rewards or usage but relating to its issuance.
I've read that getting this card was difficult however, I applied for this card recently and got the card approved immediately and e-card was issued immediately.
I already have Axis Airtel credit card and used to hold Magnus card before it got murdered. I was wondering to get Axis Atlas as well as it has some really good travel benefits and I have a travel planned. I went to Axis' mobile to see if there is an option to apply from the app itself and there it was. When I clicked on 'Apply Now' option, I was presented with a lot of credit card that were pre-approved for me, including but no limited to Atlas. I applied for it, and it was issued immediately.
Now I was wondering that I might be getting this option because I used to have Magnus card before. To check this theory out, I asked my friend who has Axis Select card only to check and for him as well, Atlas card came pre-approved.
So I believe that if you have been using any Axis card and have decent track record of timely payment and usage of card, your card would come pre-approved. Though your income criteria must be met before it gets pre-approved. This can be done based on your previous card.
So all those who have been trying to get their hands on this card and were eligible earlier, but were getting rejected for no reason, can now try to get this card via the app.
