Axis Atlas Credit Card - Applications Closed from August 31st 2025

Now that we have got confirmations from multiple sources, it is time for us to swallow the tough pill and accept the fact that Atlas is on its death bed and it will be no more among us after 31st. It gave many people their first luxury hotel stay or flight booking experience. Hope some other bank comes up and fills the void that this card will create after 31st.

@SSV
Bro wanted to apply Atlas for my wife bit she got her first axis card 2 months back only. Any way to apply either via calling customer care or App or branch visit?
I got a denial even after writing to their MD Desk as my cooldown is not over. I too very stupidly acquired LTF Privilege Amex & what all @SSV said is correct. So in september i'll call them up and ask to close the card. They'll provide some retention bonus. Will accept it and then close the card over email.

I got a call today from customer care (my RM arranged it) and they were offering me Atlas. I asked them why it doesnt appear in the pre-approved section anymore and he said it needs to be applied only thru phone banking/ customer care. I asked him to call me back on 1 Sept. to confirm my interest. Let's see what happens.

As per the update, Axis Bank will stop offering commission or sourcing for the Atlas and Samsung Infinite credit cards starting September 1, 2025. That’s most likely the reason behind all the recent rumors.

it looks interesting if we connect the dots between these two posts.....
I think it is telling us some story..

I just checked my pre-approved cards list..
Atlas was appearing in it till day before yesterday and now it's gone...
Hence Hasta la vista Atlas...
Waiting for your deval and extinction now😜😜

Last week my wife was applying for atlas and the bank guy mentioned that they received an email that atlas won’t be offered after 31st and even while applying, he had to confirm it with bank manager. It was around 18th or 19th august.

Damn it, I just paid the renewal for Atlas. What are my options?

I could be completely wrong but: if they wanted to shutdown the Atlas card or merge it with Horizon, they could have simply sent out a notice to all users offering a 'notice period' to move miles to partners at existing rates. So, simply stopping new applications, for Atlas, may not mean anything beyond that. New users will be directed to Horizon while existing users stay for now... if all this is true.

They would send out an email and you'll have 30 days minimum as per RBI guidelines.

But if you say that they'd keep Atlas live for current customers even when new applications are over, then this is wishful thinking. Could have been true, but this is Axis Bank well known for the wrong reasons.
