It says 'Member since' Amex style, I never realised this card makes you an Amex member, I thought only their Network is used

This will be valid only for paid cards. Not for ltf.

Only the network is used. “Member since” on Amex network cards refers to the month/year of the issuance and not the time since one had a relationship with the bank.
