Automatic Monthly Bill Payments

Anyone have recommendations for a reliable automatic monthly bill payment system? We've been using HDFC Billpay (through Billdesk) but lately many times the automatic payment doesn't work for all billers. And they also have an arbitrary limit of 25 billers or something.

We have something like 40+ monthly bill payments to make. Thanks.

I came here to say HDFC Bill Pay but you are already using it. SBI also has an automatic bill pay option.

My worry is that sometimes billers do not send eBill on time. Although it has happened to me twice in 10 years. Once electricity bill did not send eBill and my electricity got disconnected. Had to scramble to pay bill and get it restored. So somehow I got apprehensive of using these platforms. But in your case it's 40, so can't suggest to pay bills manually

I'd suggest using an autopay provided by the respective biller -- this will involve setting up multiple autopays, but hey at least it's not manual payment.

This is to ensure you don't let the biller and a third-party play a blame game.
