It's reward limit is also trash. Just 100 per statement month, that too only on selected categories and only UPI transactions.

Earn 1% cashback on UPI transactions across Departmental Stores, Dining, Pharmacy, and Grocery & Supermarkets.(Maximum ₹100 per statement cycle)

Not to forget that 1% cashback is available for transactions above 200 only. Seriously, it's a pathetic card

Any way to resolve it

After you do some transactions to the same merchant, banks have a system to block it in place. I faced this exact same error with Axis bank. They usually have a limit set till you reach a particular percentage of your credit limit. You can try asking the bank to unblock it. Otherwise usually this block is for 2-4 weeks. It resets itself after sometime. Exact time I don’t know.

If you have a good Rupay Card then you are not really missing out anything. It is a useless card with no real benefit. Haven’t used it even once in the last 4 months since the card activation.

Rightly said. If you have ANY one Rupay CC - preferably physical n preferably IOCL/BPCL/IRCTC - there is no need of any additional Rupay CCs - either physical or virtual. Extremely low use of such additional cards. Hence closed three such virtual cards in 03/2024.

Wanted to share experience for replacement of card

Have both LIT and Virtual rupay card. Wanted to replace LIT card and went ahead in app to request replacement and it ended up replacing the virtual card. OTP page never showed which card is getting blocked. It worked next time though. Moreover even the Virtual card had replacement charges of 100 + GST.
