Are bonus reward points on axis gyftr calculated on voucher amount or cart amount?
So for eg, if I have 2 items in a cart worth 300 each
So cart amount - 600
Individual vouchers - 300+300

Assuming 12 pts/200, At 5x
Will i get 5*12*2=120 or 5*12*3=180?

I believe the accelerated reward points are on transaction value and so you should get 180. At least this how it is in HDFC Bank. So hope Axis is also the same.

Yes u r right
What if there are 2 different vouchers of different multipliers, say one is 5x and another is 10x?
But for different tiers like 3x and 5x we miss Edge Rewards for 200 each 100 from both vouchers
We have a long thread on this with different examples but I am not getting it now

Could you elaborate on this?
This thread has explained it all.

Also can you please clarify that whether the Edge Gyftr limits for various vouchers (eg. 10k for Apay) is per Axis card or Per axis edge portal account.
Per card
Cos in some thread one of our member mentioned that under same portal he used both his and his spouse Magnus card total 20k apay vouchers
But GyFTR daily brings some changes so on the day when we effect transactions it is our luck game

Ok this something new to me.

Let's say that I purchased 5 vouchers of Rs. 1000 each which had a 10% discount and a 10x rewards multiplier. Can someone confirm which of the following scenarios is true:

Scenario 1:
1x and 9x both on final transaction value

- Amount Spent in the single transaction : Rs. 4500
- 1x Reward Points : (4400*12)/200 = 264
- 9x Accelerated Reward Points : (4400*9*12)/200 = 2376

- Total Reward Points in Scenario 1 : 2640

Scenario 2:
1x on final transaction value and 9x on per voucher value

- Amount Spent in the single transaction : Rs. 4500
- 1x Reward Points : (4400*12)/200 = 264

- Amount Spent per voucher: Rs. 900
- 9x Accelerated Reward Points : (800*5*9*12)/200 = 2160

- Total Reward Pointsin Scenario 2 : 2424

Scenario 3:
1x and 9x both on per voucher value

- Amount Spent per voucher: Rs. 900
- 1x Reward Points : (800*5*12)/200 = 240
- 9x Accelerated Reward Points : (800*5*9*12)/200 = 2160

- Total Reward Points in Scenario 3: 2400

So will I receive 2640 points or 2424 points or 2400 points? (assuming my calculations above are correct).

From what I have gathered, scenario 2 has been applicable for most people who have shared their experience. We usually get 1x point on the total cart value in multiples of Rs. 200 and the rest in the form of 2x, 4x, or 9x points per voucher, too in multiples of Rs. 200. So scenario 2 is the most appropriate one.

But as per the above comment from @Wealth is my birth right! , it seems it is Scenario 1.

Can other experts chime in?

Edit1: I just went back to my points tracker in excel in which I was using scenario 1 for all calculations. If scenario 2 is true, I will loose exactly 5140 points.

So I did a more digging overnight and found the correct answer.

Axis uses "Scenario 1 : 1x and 9x both on final transaction value" while awarding points for transactions done on Gyftr Edge portal in the cases where same brand vouchers are being purchased. This can be confirmed from the image attached below which a fellow Magnus card holder shared with me on discord.

I am still not sure about how do they calculate if different brand vouchers are there in the cart or if different multiplier vouchers are there in the cart. If someone has done these type of transactions, I would request you to mail PNO for a similar rewards statement so that we can decode for those cases too.

Scenario 1 if the voucher are all have same reward multiplier is my take.

I suspect Scenario 2 if the vouchers have different reward multiplier.

I am new to Magnus, so it will be interesting if any one has purchased mixed vouchers of different reward multiplier in same transaction.

None of these :ROFLMAO:
Complex formula used by Axis is in attachment on this post : https://www.technofino.in/community...mit-reduced-to-10k-from-50k.10147/post-170351

I purchased swiggy voucher today. 1000 rs voucher after discount is 975. So added 50 voucher also and paid 1022.5 as transaction value. 1x points expected is 60. Remaining 4x expected is 240 as per scenario 1. If not, 4x will be 192. Let us see what Axis does.

By the way, looks like Axis is doing maintenance work as system was patchy. Edge reward points were not working properly in app. Even Gyftr edge failed in both app and browser. Finally it worked to get swiggy voucher. Couldn't even login to travel edge which seems to be a issue for me 😔
