Amex platinum reserve card declined?

Hello yesterday my amex platinum reserve card declined reason as 'After reviewing your application, we have determined that your existing/previous American Express® Card payment history does not meet our internal criteria to move forward with your current request. As a result, we are not able to process your application.'
I never delayed payment in amex cards and in other bank cards also but 4 months back I closed mrcc and gold charge card I don't know why the application rejected.

Guys I cant do anything with reference number after it gets declined.
No use contacting me after you apply. Better wait wait for 45 days (for online applied cases) / 90 days (for cases applied offline)
Hi, my online referral application for Amex Plat Travel got rejected due to "details provided in your application do not meet our internal requirements for Card issuance" although I easily meet the mentioned requirements.

Can I apply again in 45 days via similar referral path? Any particular changes I need to make for my next application?
