Anyone here successfully navigated the Plat Charge card renewal? What were the retention benefits offered to you? Please mention the fees paid, date renewed and Membership rewards offered as part of renewal

Update: The customer care clearly said since the introduction of renewal benefits (35k vouchers on spending 20L in a card year) last year they are no longer offering retention benefits of Membership rewards unless we spend 20L in a card year. I closed my charge card this week.

My renewal fee is less. (35k + GST) So I would like to understand how much normal fees card holders get. Based on that I can ask for half of it 😉

If you have paid 35k for renewal that is a good price but others renewal fee currently is 77k inclusive of gst... not sure of what they would offer.. mine is due for renewal in 3 months

The main intention of the gold charge card is to get to ~10% RR on APg. After Infinia (~16 RR), this comes second.

It isn’t meant for CB. There’s a fine line between points and cashback game. If you prefer CB, then you need to use CB specific cards.

You are still employed with them right? You can get the card with the same fee with good joining benefit in future.
