AMEX Life insurance

Amex called regarding the life insurance coverage with no exceptions.
Is this legit ? What are your thoughts on it ?
Has anyone purchased such insurance from amex ?

i had taken a bharti axa policy
had a very bad experience
paid the premium
within 30 days it was expected that the policy papers would reach me physically
it never came and customer service was pathetic
they didnt agree to cancel the policy and i was made to cancel it and i didnt get the whole amount paid as premium
they cu approx 30%

I had a terrible experience with their medical insurance policy (ICICI Lombard one). Amex customer support did nothing to help. Since then, I have made it a point to stay away from all of Amex's insurance offerings
