Bet they keep asking me to upload income documents and employment verification. But I haven't. I already have a Flipkart Axis Bank CC and a cibil score above 775+

Once you have applied, he can't help you anymore. Contact him before applying, and since they are asking for the documents, you have to submit them; there is no way around it.

If you have received email from amex to upload income documents then you have to upload it, else you application may not be completed. You can try other channels.
