Adding wife in ICICI Elevate health insurance, experience?

I have read your post on EPM journey which states that you have a great relationship with ICICI already.
You can ask the same guys to connect you with the key Lombard guy.
I did the same - Asked my Imperia RM and next day the Ergo guy was at my door step😃.
I don't want those Lombard guys bug me continously. Once I am fine with Elevate I will get in touch with them. They will do it immediately.

They won’t dare if you go through your existing channels. I’m sure!!
Just discuss the product in details and ask what direct / personal support they will extend if there’s a claim.

Any idea of ICICI Elevate vs Star Health Comprehensive Policy?? Which is best?
Based on my assessment, ICICI Elevate presents a strong option. However, I would also recommend considering the Niva Bupa Aspire plan, which, in my professional opinion, currently represents the most advantageous health insurance policy available.

What an era to live. We believe in google for medical suggestions but when a @D₹V (Docto₹ / Vaidhy) suggests, question him. /s

And how is the claim settlement experience for Niva bupa?

I, along with my spouse, are already insured under CGHS.

But I still have personal health policy.

I ported my personal health policy from Star to ICICI elevate.

Added my spouse too during porting as she didn't had personal health policy. As I have already completed my waiting period of 3 years with Star, I don't have any waiting periods in Elevate. But my spouse will have waiting period criteria. Porting process was smooth.

I opted for personal health policy as it will give us more flexibility with range of hospitals if needed.

Any other medical tests or any reports during port??

They visited our home & asked for any pre existing diseases or surgery done recently or in past. And whether I had any claim with Star.

Shared couple of past reports on mail and it was done. After premium payment, their telemedicine underwriting team will ask same thing & one needs to honestly disclose it, even if they miss asking anything.

No test was done during this process.

Got it, Thanks.
