Accor Step Advisor FAQ answers.
1. No fee from clients for booking
2. Step rates are usually Best Available rates(BAR), but some hotels has discounted rates too.
3. Some hotels have minimum 2 night policy
4. Points redemption is at hotel's discretion, around 10% of the hotels not agreeing for points redemption.
5. I communicate with hotel on your behalf, related to payment related queries & your requests like bed preference, check in time, etc..
6. I help you get the room upgrades, subject to availability.

I was thinking like this for a while. Get % from hotels + book with my cc, make extra points from bank as well.

But how would you talk with the hotels regarding payments and requirements ? Unless you are paying them using your cc and booking for someone else.

And why would the hotels allow a 3rd party person to book on my behalf ? If a travel agent maybe, yes. But isnt it against TnCs, and no points can be used also if I am correct.

Is Pullman/Movenpick Maldives part of Step Program?

Yes both are part of STEP Program. The program is being migrated to Accor Hera, after migration which both these will cease to be part of the same.

Yes, but then we wont get 1 extra night free offer. It only shows when 3 day booking is done.

As of now, Fairmont (Downtown & Palm), Sofitel Palm, Raffles Palm allow points usage. Dm to know more
