Axis Atlas 2X reward points via axis atlas flight booking on travel edge

Booked flight tickets via axis travel edge portal using my atlas card.
Got 2X reward points. Wrote to premium support. They are saying :
As per bank records, Vernost Marketing S, MUMBAI on 22-04-2024 falls under MCC 4722TRAVEL AGENCIES), hence, 2x miles were provided for every INR 100 spent instead of 5x miles.

I even shared the invoice of the payment.

What should i do?

First write to PNO saying you want the correct reward points as stated in the Credit Card FAQ. If they deny or don’t listen. Complain to ombudsman seeking compensation.

For this approach, should we first contact CC to confirm what MCC code they report or ?
Since PNO can simply claim wrong MCC or similar reason and we would not have any proof of MCC code, since only they know about it.

Sure. No harm in also getting the mcc and mentioning it in the email.

they are still checking but now i am hopeful because the dumb customer care finally understood what i was trying to explain.

How will u know mcc unless u ask customer care? Merchant name and mcc are 2 separate things.

As I said many times before, if you want to use Atlas card for air tickets then always book on the direct airline website to be guaranteed 10% return on Atlas card.

Travel edge is to be used ONLY with Magnus burgundy for 24% return.

Bro it is the same mcc lol. On which I got 5x last month for same flight and same route same date on travel edge. Funniest part

Painy things of atlas are 1EM for 100 regular spends and only 3 mcc gives 5x and on top of all meet and greet removal

Looks like post 20th april atlas spends the EMs yet to get credited and in YT for one of the video all comments that they got 1 so need to check on own 😎

Atlas continues to give 2 miles per 100 on eligible transactions even today. Don't post misleading info. Also travel edge is part of the 5x list

I have the reply in email:

We would like to inform you that, the remaining miles will be credited to your edge reward account by June 15, 2024. Hence, we request you to wait for the given time frame.

This is possible with Atlas.
But with Magnus Burgundy, 5x or 30% reward points (24% return) come in 5--7 days.

Maximum 60000 points on 2 lakhs every month on Traveledge

Interesting. When did u last do a txn on traveledge wirh magnus burgundy? Didn't know they credit 5x in 5-7 days. I thought it would take a month.

Post Magnus for Burgundy account migration things are getting better 😎
