I think HDFC don't give CB for it's credit card payments. You can setup autopay for rest of bank CC.

1) HSBC - Autopay cannot be setup for HSBC Card (As soon as you select HSBC front dropdown during biller setup, it says autopay not supported on this biller)
2) HDFC - Cannot setup autopay for HDFC CC Bill
3) ICICI - It does not put ICICI CC Bills into scheduled section so effectively no autopay. (Tried for ICICI amazon Pay and ICICI Coral, even tried removing and adding again)
4) SBI CB - Bill payment usually fails even if you transact more than the CB amount.

please add to this or mention if you could resolve any of the above

ICICI (Sapphiro, rubyx, platinum, amazon, coral all five working), SBI (NOT cashback card) working perfectly fine for me bhai. Before setting autopay i deleted the existing billers and added them once again, working smoothly since then.

Try adding biller after deleting existing. The bill is autopaid 4 days before from due date. You can always pay just before due date if it fails...but do set a reminder though!

Before 2 years I paid my bill of icici cc in autopay only, recently I never tried.
R u sure that now it wont work for ICICI CC,
Actually I added the icici Credit card again for HDFC autopay in FOMO for CB again

My & Dad' Coral Rupay & My Amazon Pay all 3 have no issues with Autopay and getting me cb also every month. Same with most of the users. So this particular limitation is user specific not a common issue.

Before 2 years I paid the icici bills,
And at that time I was unablee to PAY KOTAK CC BILLS through hdfc autopay .
When @vaibhavchits said , I GOT FOMO for Cb

Tq once again for confirmation
Still I will update by next month before 10th whether paymet happend or not

For SBI CB, when cashback credit to account then due amount is less the bill amount. So you need to spend amount >= to cashback before auto pay trigger so that it will be successful

Thanks all for your responses.

I have deleted all my ICICI billers and added them to Mom's account. Lets see if it pulls the bills and schedules them.

So Conclusion
1) HDFC and HSBC does not work/fetch cashback on HDFC autopay.
2) ICICI is working for most but some users facing issues.
3) SBI cashback is always erratic, sometimes it works sometimes doesn't (even after cashback equavalent buying trick)

I am planning to get Kotak 811 Super on all family member's accounts to pay bills on the remaining billers (4.4/3.8 % effective cashback through savesage)
does anyone know on what date of the next month does Kotak credits the cashback ?
has anyone faced any issues ?

Autopay doesn't seem to schedule my payments. Added axis bank card and icici coral on June 26 with bill due on July 5 and 9 respectively. No payment scheduling hapenning. Had to pay manually.

No.
No way.
Best way is Zavo+Idfc dc combo for Hdfc cc bill pay 0.33-2.5% cb or Axis liberty a/c Cred Upi 1.25% cb.

Try to add before the bill generation date or see until next cycle bill due date.

Some times they wont get scheduled if we add then after bill generation date . Not all card , some cards
