080-BLR Lounge Access - Domestic T1

I meant, sometime they have 4-5 POS machines at the same counter. Did they use the same exact machine or different machines altogether.

Was trying to find out why three different names came:
- International Departure A
- BLR Domestic Lounge BEN
- VPS*080 Dom T
International terminal lounge generally costs high compared to domestic lounge .
Now I am thinking, may be those lounges trying to get more money from bank or dreamfolks by showing domestic terminal usage as international.

080 domestic costs 2400 approx in dreamsfolks app but 080 international showing 4k+

But you need PP to access international lounge 👀 other you will be charged on your vanilla CC to use the international lounge. Regardless of merchant name on bank side, they may have mapped to another name on CC backend side.

Good point. That could be a possibility.

I am talking about domestic lounge access but international terminal which is inside india .
For example T2 080 international lounge in Bangalore airport.

Yep, I am talking about the same thing and understood your point. My point was that if they truly show domestic terminal usage as international, they would have charged for the same on the card, as the user didn't use PP. I don't think that with those cards you are eligible for free international lounge access.

ignore, I might have understood your points in a different context (again).^

Ha ha , Simple example is
I have hsbc live+ card , it have only domestic lounge access, no outside of India . Using this card we can access both domestic and international terminals of banglore airport.
But my assumption is if the card got swiped at domestic departure lounge will charge bank some amount. If the card swiped at international departure of banglore airport the charges will be higher than domestic terminals .

So if lounge use international departure pos machine at domestic departure they can loot more money from bank / card network/ dreamfolks. Just my thoughts.

Exactly. Also, for end user it doesn't matter. Whichever pos it is swiping, he just pays 2 rs. But play is happening behind by lounge operator, dreamfolks and banks.

What! Are you sure with domestic lounge access, you can access lounges in both terminals? Which card offers the same? And this is very card specific.

All rupay cards , visa , Master cards network based lounge cards which doesn't tieup with dreamfolks . For example all rupay select and platinum cards from psu banks , federal credit cards , hsbc credit cards etc .

Cards tieup with dreamfolks we have to check accordingly, most of the icic cards have but selected hdfc cards only have it . My easydiner and idfc select and power plus card doesn't have .

So yes , we can access as long as it's inside india it's considered as domestic lounge access.

ooooh! To clear my confusion, I have a query.
Sometimes banks issue their own list card wise domestic lounge access program. i.e.: https://www.axisbank.com/docs/defau...y/axis-bank-airport-lounge-access-program.pdf

Now, apart from this, I am also eligible for lounge access based on the underlying card network i.e visa/mastercard etc? i.e. https://www.visa.co.in/content/dam/...ocuments/in-participating-airport-lounges.pdf

Nope , if the bank gave specific list for the cards , then we can't use the network based .
